Save the Children

Save the Children

Save the Children believes that every child deserves a future. In the UK and around the world, we do whatever it takes for children, every day and in times of crisis. With your help, we can continue to provide vulnerable children with protection from harm, medical support, clean water, or an education - whatever is needed to ensure that they will have a healthy, secure and happy childhood.

Writing or amending your will through Will Aid is a great way to make a lasting difference to the world the next generation grows up in. After providing for your loved ones, you may also wish to include a gift in your will to Save the Children. A gift of any size could help ensure that vulnerable children, wherever they are, have the chance to survive, learn and be safe, and that you will be remembered in a child’s smile.

For more information about remembering Save the Children with a gift in your will, please contact a friendly member of our Gifts in Wills team on 020 7012 6400 or email us at [email protected].

Reaching every last child

When a flood in Yucatan state, Mexico, swept away their crops and killed almost all of their animals, Rudi and his family were struggling to find enough to eat. As part of Save the Children’s health and nutrition programme in the area, the family received all the support they needed to build a garden, where they could grow fresh fruit and vegetables. That way, they were able to have a healthy and diverse diet, and could also sell some of their produce to other members of the community.

Rudi enjoys taking care of the garden and feeding the animals. ‘I watch my mum cooking, because what she cooks is very delicious. My dad goes to harvest when the corn is grown and brings it home. Every day I eat tortilla for breakfast’, he says.

Leaving a gift in your will to Save the Children, can allow us to provide vital support to children like Rudi in the decades ahead.
