Case study: Hayden Solicitors

Hayden Solicitors Limited in Lancashire has raised over £4,000 in just three years of participating in the Will Aid scheme, and hope to add to this success in the years to come.

Private client solicitor Jade Hartley said:

“Taking part in Will Aid has been a rewarding experience and has given us the opportunity to meet new clients from our surrounding area and support a number of charities."

Jade is joined by Paralegal and Barrister Intermediary, Hannah Callan, who also works in the Private Client department at Hayden Solicitors.

Hannah said:

“Everybody should have a Will and there is no time like the present. Many people have a misconception that you only need a Will if you are rich or if you are old.

“Our advice is that everybody should have a Will no matter how little you have or no matter what age.

“It is even more important for people who have children, unmarried couples and people whose wishes are not so straightforward.

“Many people put off making a Will for various reasons but for most people making a Will is a straight forward, quick, easy process.”

Jade added:

“Will Aid month is an exciting campaign to get involved with. Will Aid provide you with all the materials you need andthis makes taking part extremely straightforward and hassle free and as everything is set up for you.

“As Will Aid is a well-known scheme it gains a lot of coverage over all regions, thus helping small firms like ourselvesget out there and bring the clients in to us for Will Aid.

“We are very proud of what we raise for charity.  Each year we take part we aim to beat what we raised the year before.”
